How to Understand and Use the Balance Sheet and Statement of Profit and Loss to Further Your Business

Are you interested in making better business decisions to increase your company’s profits? Are you a manager or owner of a company and are still puzzled by terms like cash flow, Equity, Fixed Asset and Profit and Loss statements. Or are you always confused when your CPA tells that you made a nice profit but your bank account doesn’t show the same? Or do you hear often that Quickbooks is not just a cashbook, but has many application?

Then you need to take this course.

Using practical explanations and real-life examples, this course will show you how money flows through a typical business. You will learn the basics of how a business operates, including how to develop successful business strategies and how to use financial statements to make better business decisions.

Whether you’re an employee, sales executive, supervisor, or manager, this course will help you understand basic financial information and use that information to make decisions that will positively affect your company’s financial situation.

This is a business finance course for non-financial employees and managers. Position yourself to be more confident in your business and financial decisions!

Each participant will fill out a short assessment, so that Judy can tailor the training to each individual needs. As our class size is limited to 12 people, you will get all your questions answered!

  • Income Statement

Your trainer: Judith E. David, CPA, CGMA

Judy is currently a tax manager ad Edward C. David & Company, a CPA firm providing small to mid-size companies with tax and general business advice and services.  Also co-manage the day to day operations of the accounting firm. Judy has over 20 years of public accounting experience in both small and mid-size firms focusing on tax, financial statement and advisory services to numerous industries.

Judy her experience is both practical as well as theoretical, her educational accolades include a B.S. in Accounting from Bentley University, she is Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and she is a Member of both the AICPA and the NH Society of CPAs

Judy brings to the attendees an indepth   experience of helping small business clients with their financial reporting requirements and helping them move forward by enabling them to understand the information that they should be accumulating on a daily basis to properly manage their business.
